An exciting opportunity has arisen at Te Puna Manawa HealthWEST for youth-friendly School Based General Practitioners to join our team, providing an exceptional standard of care to Rangatahi in the WDHB region.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated GPs to work under a contract agreement as the GP lead for the SBHS for 4 hours a week, and to provide GP services within a School Based Health Service on a sessional basis.

This challenging and rewarding role involves undertaking Choice Assessments and brief interventions for children and adolescents aged between 12 and 24 years presenting with moderate mental health or behavioural concerns. Knowledge of the Choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA) is advantageous. This role is a part-time fixed term role until the end of December 2019, based at our Henderson clinic.
